Cross-post from SCA-West: *I'll post the ACCEPS event ticket link when that's ready, as well as any additional pertinent event information. Concord is approximately 30 miles from Oakland International Airport and 40 miles from San Francisco International Airport. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) serves both airports and the hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the Concord BART station. Schedules and routes can be found at www.bart.gov/

That link isn't working for me - it seems to have a line break in the middle of it and I can't patch it back together. Can someone clarify? (TinyURL might help.) Thanks!
Update: Actually, the registration form takes the CAS code, so you just need the link to the hotel website. Never mind.

Cross-post from SCA-West: Wait, what? Is the event really a weekend long thing? Like, should we make plans to definitely be there Friday night because things are happening? Out here, 12th Night events are single-day events, so I really don't know.

The actual event is Saturday. However, peerage vigils* sometimes happen on Friday evening, and Saturday night includes the Duchesses' Ball, the Casbah for the ME drumming dancing folks and various parties and activities.
(*I have not decided if I want to do this yet or not.)

Out here, 12th Night events are single-day events, so I really don't know. West Kingdom 12th Night is Winter Coronation. It's a bit of a shindig, and being there on Friday night is an excuse to hang out with friends an extra day, particularly for travelers. Even if there's no vigil, I expect there will be something special Friday night...

If I show up by Friday at 3ish and need to leave by Sunday at 6PMish, will that cover everything I want to be present for?

Absolutely. Most folks'll be checking out Sunday, but IIRC, they usually have the Kingdom Herald's meeting in the morning. (No idea if there are peerage meetings scheduled....)

OK, so the wifey and I have reservations at the hotel for Friday and Saturday nights. We're actually going to be in the greater SF area for much of the preceding week visiting friends and family, so if there are plans to do anything Tousando centric that is not at the event, please let us know.

The web page for last year's event has a bit more information. I wouldn't rely on much of it of course, but it did give me a better feeling for the event, and the page does contain an email address for the reservation coordinator.

I just booked my ticket. Anyone from the boards want to split a room for Friday and Saturday nights?

Wooties! I should mention (warn) folks that as of this writing, there are six peerages that I know of taking place at this event. (No word on batting order yet.) That's an Imperial Craptonne of court business to sit through, particularly for visitors from out-kingdom who won't know the players. That said, there are generally other activities during the day (A&S displays, merchants) and a banquet room is usually set aside for folks to hang out, eat lunch, and so forth. (I plan on commandeering a table in the banquet room for my guests, and we can use my room for hangout space too, as needed.) A lot of folks bring their own lunches in if they don't want to eat at the hotel. There are also a number of restaurants in the shopping center across the road, ranging from Quizno's subs to Benihana. www.willowsshoppingcenter.com/restaurants.html (I'd completely forgotten about Benihana. We may have to invade....)

Invading Benihana sounds beyond hilarious.
Would it be reasonable for me to bring an A&S project to display? I'd rather participate than not, and meeting exciting new people sounds fun.
