Does anyone have detailed pictures of the back plate of a Nio Do (the one where it looks as if the Kimomo is over one shoulder and the body shows on the other side. I'm also looking for close up shots of the lacing for the same do in historic examples. I've read Effingham Sensei's site and I own copies of Sakakibara Kozan, "The Samurai sourcebook" and a couple of Eff's books. Online sources are best but I'll work with Inter-library loans if need be. Many thanks

Glad to provide, but... It's Jo's picture from the museum, not mine. She did the work. Effingham (dammit, I *can* spell museum!)
