They are antique Edo period 1800s originals, the type of gauntlets used with Japanese chain mail armor or kusari katabira. Not as common as the average kote used with traditional armor.

Edo period was from the 1600s to the 1800s, but I have never seen Japanese gauntlet style kote older than 1800s, Its possible they were made but Japanese gauntlets in general are very rare and pictures are hard to find.

To those who are waiting for patterns from me, thanks for being patient, I havent managed to get patterns, and a scanner in the same place, I am damnably busy, and now in the middle of a move, Ill get them out as soon as I have 2 moments to rub together.

Sure, Which pattern did you want?
In updates, After testing and lots of fighting, I one is to cover the lacross gloves with leather you want 13oz wtf thick stuff, and then harden it, took a humdinger of a shot to my left index finger and its still swolen 6 days later ( I have been moving on it so its not completly the shot) Its not broken but it blew my grip for the rest of fighter practice. I may play around with an ABS version of the glove, or break down and make/buy clamshells (once in the new place Ill have room for an armory/smithy yaaaay!!)
