I just discovered this business and got the chance to visit their showroom in San Francisco today - it's quite impressive. (Turns out they were having their annual New Year sale too - super discounts!) I didn't see anything that was as old as SCA period, but I didn't actually get to look at everything! They sell online and ship anywhere - the website is drool-worthy too. www.kikuimports.com/

I just got a postcard today that said Kiku Imports is closing. They're going to have a big sale starting in about 10 days, then go out of business.

Kiku Imports says they are back in business. They closed their showroom in SF, but they have a warehouse down in San Carlos, CA (that is only open on Saturdays) and their website is back on again for online sales. www.kikuimports.com/new-arrival/

I recently ordered an item from the new Kiku Imports. The item arrived quickly, very well packed, and in perfect condition. The only trouble is that several days after that there was some (over one thousand dollars) fraud on the credit card I used for the purchase. The fraudsters had my billing address and the verification code, which the bank says indicates they probably acquired my information from an online vendor. I'm not accusing Kiku Imports or their employees of this fraud, but it seems likely that my information was stolen from their ordering system. Be careful.
The fraudsters also signed up for a membership at the Blue Mountain greeting cards web site, I guess as a way of verifying my information, so if you see that $3.99 charge on your bill, call your bank.
