Excellent work for your first effort, but I just want to point out something that will make a huge difference in the look of your final project. On the right one that I've made (and didn't have a better picture of). The look is really enhanced when the entire shape is one large trapezoid. I made my pattern by drawing out one large trapezoid, then dividing it equally into my segments. Next I cut out each segment, then traced it onto a new sheet of paper. Finally I placed a straight edge along the slope of the lame and extended it up 0.5".

nismos14270rOhhhh!!! I just went back to my original original designs and I made a note of that as well! I must have completely forgot and just cut to the set lengths. When this one is done and I start my next I will make sure to do that. Thanks a lot I can't believe I completely forgot to do this! Attachments:

So my armour is now wearable, I have done some parts wrong but I only realised that a short while after. I should have frog hopped my sode onto the shoulder straps, but I fully laced them in. But I have managed to wear the armour completely, the back hangs a bit lower so I need to shorten the straps a bit so it fits nicer. Ignore the red cord around my waste a quick sarashi I used. I kinda find it hard to be proud of it as when I see other peoples theres are just so much better. Well for now I will tweek it and get it sitting right and work out how to do that front bit that hangs around your neck what covers the muniata. (PS had to take this in my sisters room, thats where they is high heel shoes and monkeys haha)
