Some of us watch ebay. Sometimes we see cool things that we think, "Wow! Somebody ought to buy that!". Or sometimes we see things we just would like to share. For those times, go ahead and use this thread to highlight that item. If your decide to bid on that item, feel free to let us know if you like, but there is no obligation for members not to bid against other board members.
When posting a link to an item, ebay can put up all sorts of strange URLs. The best, shortest url to use is of the following format: http: //cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7xxxxxxxxx
Feel free to use other threads to discuss particular items such as weapons, armour, clothing, or apparel accessories. And if you are selling an item, by all means, create a new thread in this forum. This is meant to be more of a catch-all and a place to put items not meant for indepth discussion.

Speaking of which, O Moderator, did you have any luck on any of the saddlery auctions you were looking at?
She who decided that she probably couldn't justify bidding on that pair of blindingly orange hakama.

Sorry for the long url Otagiri-dono. Though try as I might, I'm still a bit computer illiterate.
Though now that I've done the math, I'd practically have to wear those puppies "empire" to avoid dragging. I could hem them, but I think I would feel guilty for doing so.

The guy above is now selling 12 complete suits. Some are pretty obvious modern repos. I don't know if this link will work, if not just search for the seller kohoudosearch.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZkohoudo

Gaius and I had a running gag, whenever one of us or the other would see something weird, outrageous, too big to possibly own, one or the other of us would say:
"Look, honey, TWELVE sets of samurai armor!" "But where would we put it?" "Patio."
(We had a biiiiiiig patio at the old place....)
