While they don't seem to have their event webpage up yet, here is the link to the Coeur d'Ennui Event Webpage, so hopefully that will be up soon. Here is some info from the Mews (Calontir's newsletter) if anyone in nearby kingdoms might want to attend: July 15-17, at the 4-H Center in rural Madrid, IA, north of Des Moines (1991 Peach Ave.). You can find directions here. Activities include: Fighting (Calontir War Manuevers--single and melee combat emphasizing the weapons common to the battlefields of Nippon) A&S Japanese strategy, forging techniques, origami, renga and other poetic forms Children's Activities origami and more! This is a lovely site, with lots of camping available. It opens at 6 pm on Friday July 15th and closes Sunday at 11 am. There are no off-site eateries nearby (this place is really rural!) Feast Above the salt $8, Below the salt $5. Children's feast $3. Pre-paid reservations only. Reservations Due (not postmarked, DUE) by July 9th. Not sure if Baron Yoshi wants his email posted up here--I'll leave that up to him, since I think he has visited this board before. The first link I posted is Coeur d'Ennui's webpage, so if nothing else, contact their Excellencies Magnus and Winnifred or the seneschal. (I myself live in another area of Iowa--and will not be much on the internet after this week because of school. ) Should be a fun event! Hope some of ya'll can visit us here in Calontir! Oh, also, just by the site is The Iowa Arboretum--when my husband and I lived in the Des Moines area, we used to go out there a couple of times a year just to see the trees and gardens. Very lovely area, if you like gardens, and well worth touring, if you have the time. --Ki no Torahime

And here I was, thinking this was a topic discussion on the delicate balance between Japan's trade and foreign policies.
Hmm..
