Tengu-sama might be thinking of tenugui, which was recently mentioned on the wafuku forum as a potential head covering. I believe these cloths originated in onsen or bath houses for clothes wrapping. oh, sorry, i just saw this post. i was not thinking of tenugui, the person who showed me how to tie them was using a furoshiki, but it was not a common furoshiki (apparently) as it was only a single piece of fabric, and not very eye-catching On a lateral topic, i was looking over www.env.go.jp/en/focus/attach/060403-5.html and noticed yotsu musubi. is there any sort of box i could have, in period, put all my feastware inside, and then wrapped that in the furoshiki?
