This is 1mm thick, spring steel kote. You have model under, edo period. It was too little for me. It will be rusted outside.

How Funny... I was showing up here to try and move some old Armor from my Shop days.. (Well not old.. just left over and never sold). ONE of the things I am trying to sell is a Pair of my (normally) leather articulated Gauntlets.. that have been Punched in Sugake style for lacing, (spray) laquered, and are ready to lace (I even have red Para cord). My normal pattern for those is rather eastern (EGG Armoury copied them for his plastic offerings) and is what I am going to modify for SCA legal /10 foot accurate/hand pieces for Kote. I have pix of the original pattern pieces and can take pix of the pieces as they are...
ANYONE Interested?? Buying or just pix?

I would like to at least check them out as I am in desperate need of gauntlets and if they fall into a more Japanese style the better.
