Interesting book kayudo on ebay cgi.ebay.com/Japanese-archery-Kyu....#ht_8927wt_1026 That book is written by my teacher Mori Sensei. The publishing company promised an English version 5 years ago but... *My* translation is only about 40% of the book and while my senmon yuugo is good, I don't have certification as a translator. The publisher only wants their translation. If you are a heki-ryu practitioner it is an invaluable resource. Otherwise not so much.

yes, but we're all fairly sure she's not real. Much like the proverbial cake she is a lie.

It seems a lot like a simple spam program that signs itself up for the forum and then posts prescripted messages into various threads, whether or not they're active, with links and advertising. I mean honestly, eighteen posts in five minutes, all of which are pretty well copied and pasted, in the same sub board, and none of which have anything to do with either the subject of the thread or even the subjects of the board. It's lame badly targeted advertising.

For those of us who both play World of Warcraft, and play in the SCA. Those gold selling and power leveling websites are nothing but a bunch of hackers who steal peoples accounts and re-sell them to unsuspecting people, who they usually end up stealing everything back from.
Usually, if you go to those websites they have concealed keyloggers and trojans to try to steal or trick you into giving your password and/or other account info to.
Their activity is both against the terms of service of every game out there, and against the law in most countries. Which is why most of them are run out of China, where they are legal and run openly.
You should delete all these messages, the account that posted them, and block the IP they came from, IMHO.

Oh the humanity!! Wait... what. You mean people are stupid enough to post a video game "advertisement" on a board having to do with Japanese culture in all its forms. I must admit however, I am saddened that I will not have a person around my age to meet. Maybe I should start a forum asking for a girl friend

Did you find a Yumi? I have a 17 kg Yumi from Ashai America. It is a Fiberglass Jikishin II Yumi (dark brown/black finish with some minor scratches in the finish) that I am not using. www.kyudo.com/asahiam.htmlAlso, check www.zenkyudo.org/home.html, this is Don Symanski's site, he teaches Kyudo and makes bows in CO. No I never got a Yumi. I am waiting to find a dojo so that I can learn to shot the bow right the first time and not cause myself trouble later.
