Another sword that is rather inexpensive,yet of good quality is the Musha class made by Dynasty Forge.There are places that sell it for less than 200.00.Of all that would be my pick.

makiwara i dont think you would have to strain yourself even that much with your fan!! just just arc the eyebrow and point and your well dressed Rasshu would take care of any annoying pest. Solveig there is an okinawan martial art form using the boat oar in Go-JU Ryu ;D

maby old post, but Hanweii Forge has always served me well. I've been using and abusing swords from Paul Chen for a long time and they are by far one of the best, plus they won't break your budget!
