So, who all is going to be at Pennsic this year? I and my wife Lady Hara will be. We will be camping with our household within Clan Yama Kaminari in East 03, which is one block East and South of troll. We normally don't arrive until the middle Saturday (August 4th this year), but then we stay until the bitter end on Sunday (Aug. 12).
I'll be participating in the A&S display on Monday, teaching a kumihimo class on Tuesday, and braiding on Artisan's Row Narrow Wares Day on Thursday. You can see I'll be pretty busy during most days, but our camp is very open; so if you are in the neighborhood please stop by. Don't miss our roving fertility festival and our Bad Japanese Accent Karaoke Night

Back from Pennsic! We arrived home today after our 1.5 hour drive home from the Pennsic War. Some things: - Chatting with Ii-dono during opening ceremonies rather than stand out in the rain or force our way into the barn.
- Finding some great hemp/linen fabric for $5/yard. Getting more later so I can also make a kataginu in spite of somebody else buying the entire rest of the second roll.
- Buying a decent yari blade. (Talked him down on price, even!)
- Getting oohs and ahhs during the A&S display for my 16-strand kumihimo. 28 braids in all, each almost a yard long. First one made in January, last one made on Monday during the A&S display.

It was great to see you.
And apologies to anyone I missed--especially folks in YK. I was there briefly, and didn't see everyone I had hoped.
