Welcome to haramaki club. The first rule of haramaki club is that you do not talk about haramaki club. It looks great!

Ha! Dont let Ishida-san fool you. He talks about his haramaki all the time. He has made no less than 300 posts about it!

The body is all abs plastic as I was curious about using the stuff, Now that I have I really suggest using kydex, the material is less fussy with temperature. The Munaita is all kydex as I felt it needed more flex. All 1/8" stuff. Thanks for the compliments. My next project is probably a hotoke variant...and after that I'm gonna try to make a more refined version of this armour, and then tackle the whole Effingham plates armour again.

Brilliant work. I'm really pleased with the quality of armour I see being made these days.

Sorry for all the necroposts I'm doing these days... Is there any way to repair the broken links to the pics posted here? I bet there are tons of great inspirational photos here on this forum, but I've come across quite a number of threads now where the links did not work anymore

I bet there are tons of great inspirational photos here on this forum, but I've come across quite a number of threads now where the links did not work anymore This is a problem with many forums were the images are not attached (uploaded) to the forum directly. When someone links to a web site or photo gallery such as Flicker or Photobucket and they either close their account, move, rename or delete their images etc the link is broken. The photo is permanently lost.
