So a while ago I mentioned that I had a behind load of Kikko and I might be willing to get rid of some of them. Well I finally got a count and I have 1038 of them and I think I may be willing to part with 500. They are all T-6 aluminum so they won't rust. Here are pics... It is hard to see the dish on the Kikko here but it is the best pic I got. I also have a whole box of "Mistakes" that the machine shop did up first. I didn't dish these because with the holes so far out I was afraid the edges would warp. I figure there are just about the same amount of these because the weight of the box is about the same. I'm willing to sell all of these if someone wants them. I honestly don't know what to ask for them. I do know that I'm open for trades as well as cash and any cash I make will go to feeding my shop tool habit. So go ahead and throw some offers my way and we will see what we can do.

Looks like I have half the undished and 100 of the dished spoken for so that leaves 400 dished and estimated 500 undished.

So I sent out 100 of the dished and 500 of the flat today. I have another 100-200 flat spoken for but they haven't decided yet, but until they do I'm holding the full 200 so that leaves 400 dished and 300(ish) flat still availible if anyone wants them.

Which ones? The domed are going for .50 each and the flat are .10. I only have about 300 (estimated) of the flat and 400 of the domed that I'm willing to part with.

Hey Roninpenguin - just got these in the mail today and they are great! I am going to make some gauntlet cuffs out of them for SCA fighting. Here's how I plan to make the cuffs - I'm going to sandwich them in between two pieces of 2-3 ounce leather. I will attach the kikko to the the outer layer and then top stitch the inner layer to the outer layer. This will make the inside of the cuff smooth so it won't snag on my armor. It should also provide good flexibility in my cuffs for proper wrist movement. It should also be way tougher than just a plain leather cuff. Come to think of it - I'll cross post this to the Katch section for comments.

Cool, that is similar to what I was thinking about doing for a Manchuria for some upper shoulder protection with good flexibility, which is what started me getting all these in the first place. Yoshi, just let me know when you are ready. I can't guarantee that someone else won't come along and swoop them up but everyone who had expressed interest before has already bought so I think you should be safe.

Pallidus- I'm really interested to see what you come up with. The cuffs of my gauntlets are the part I am most struggling with disguising.
Yagyu- yeah, my first project will be a short manchira, basically kohire and tate-eri. Pretty likely tateage for suneate as well. Can't tell you how awesome it is of you to open up your stash. I'm really excited to see what comes of it.
