I should probably get going and start planning. Any chance of resurrecting Rising Sun?

At this point I don't think I'm going. With Kelly being due just a few weeks before hand and the event costing $85 I'm just not sure if I can pull it.

Surely SOMEONE is going. I'm mulling class offerings. Anything you want to see?

I know I may not be there, but you know what would be a cool class, a class about games.

Yagyu-dono maybe you can volunteer a bit and get a free daytrip pass just to come visit Sho and I would love to see you.

Well, I would also have to be able to be able to do it with my 4 year old in tow. Kelly is due to pop any day now and if she gives birth early enough then as long as I take the 4 year old out of her hair she shouldn't have problems dealing with the new born without me. If she doesn't pop until a couple of weeks before war then there is no way I can make it out.
By the way Mitsuhide says "hi". He is staring at me while I type this and keeps saying that.

He would take "Mildly Creepy" as a compliment.

My class schedule for Estrella War (Queen Creek, AZ, 2/25-3/2/14) has been confirmed:
Beginner Taiko at 10 AM on Thursday, Friday AND Saturday.
"First Contact: Japan and the West in Period" class is scheduled for Saturday at 12 pm. (I decided to go with this because I figure it might pique the interest of a larger audience.)
I'm planning on participating in some rapier tourneys and my Queen has indicated she will be taking the rapier field on Thursday, so I shall accompany her. I haven't decided whether the House of Cheerful Monkeys will be doing anything formal yet, but I will keep you apprised. Either way, I will be camped with the West Kingdom: look for my banner with three blue fans.
I COULD be induced to pack along books if people want to do an informal book dive in camp (hint, hint).

So it looks like I AM going to be at Estrella! (YAY) I will have the 4 year old with me all week, but we may try to attend your Taiko class on Friday. Mitsuhide would really like to see us do our annual New Years party on Thursday and we are going to set up a lot of our decorations in our encampment. If we want to do it at our place Mitsuhide has volunteered to bring the big red wagon over to your encampment and pull what ever you would like to bring to ours, or we can just do it at your encampment, or Mitsuhide and I could just try and find enough stuff in Phoenix for a good party. In some way shape or form I'm pretty sure we are going to do something because he really likes to get his Sake on.

Terrific! Looking very much forward to seeing you.
If you boys want to play host this year, I'm good with that. I will be sure to hit some of my usual spots for nice drinkables and refreshments - and I have an unopened bottle of plum liqueur that Vail-dono gave me at GWW we should breach.
Note to self, pack one of the mini shime-daiko in case Kitty wants to play. It's just her size.

For those that didn't attend you missed an awesome war. Rain and all it was a great event.

Lady Hara and I may be attending Estrella 2015 as part of the Aethelmearc Royal Retinue.
If we go, we'll be flying in to Tucson to visit her sister and borrow some camping equipment, then driving up to Estrella, then driving back down to Tucson to drop things off and fly home.
This all means probably leaving some time Saturday. Will we miss a lot if we do that, or should we take Monday off work and not leave until Sunday?
We have a lot of leeway on when we arrive. When do most people usually show up?
Our real schedule will depend on Their Majesties Aethelmearc, but some guidance here would be helpful.
