Lady Kitsuno is featured in a recent Asahi News article.Check out the article for more. It is really cool that the Ikoma family is working to same these family documents. A lot of families are worried about losing their history--these documents are squirreled away but poor management by academic institutions means that some documents that were previously offered up for study have been disconnected and lost in the academic system, never being returned to the family that donated them. That has led to a huge conundrum of how to get at and study these documents without the same kind of rapacious behavior. On the other hand, maintaining the documents can be expensive in its own right. I hope that their library will help. -Ii
