"Good Orient; Fine Asian Goods"
They are a fabric and dry goods retailer and wholesaler in Shanghai china.
Do not order from this company.
Reviews online are about 50% excellent and 50% terrible, and it looks like I lost the coin flip.
We needed a lot of silk brocade to make some important outfits, and I browsed the web until I found something nice that I really wanted to sew. They were willing to sell me a whole roll of fabric at wholesale price and and ship it priority. I had to order a half roll of another fabric to make the minimum dollar amount for a wholesale order, but shrug. It was supposed to take 1 week for order processing, then a week in transit.
Week 0: I place the order, and they charge my credit card.
Week 2: Fabric has not arrived at the shipping office from the warehouse. Remember, it was supposed to be in my hands at this point.
Week 3: The half roll of fabric arrives, and they ask if I want it shipped immediately or wait until the other arrives in about a week. I say ship it now, because I am already anticipating I will have to cancel the rest of the order.
Week 4: The other fabric arrives, but it's not the correct fabric. Instead, the factory sent over 3 alternate fabrics. It will take another week to get the correct one. Do I want to wait a week, or should they ship me one of the alternates?
That's where we are today. The tracking site says the less important fabric left Beijing on Friday. We'll see what it's like when it arrives. I'm going to tell them to wait for the correct fabric and ship it as soon as possible, and re-evaluate next week.
