Even with a 15 hour drive time and dealing with some upset bosses, this sounds like a mighty tempting idea. Only issue would be crash space, sure couldn't afford a hotel on such short notice.

Omomoko-dono and I are planning on going.
Did you want to just get togther and go? I'm not sure I want to "freak the mundanes" with period Nihon clothing. Some might find it insulting.

Nagamochi-dono, Omomoko-dono and I would be honored if you would accept an invitation to stay with us in our home.

Cherry blossoms in June? Oh, waitaminnit, you people live in the mountains. (The ones that were hard to fly over last night - you shoulda seen the towering anvil clouds over Denver at sunset!) I will be attending the performance of the Chikamatsu-za kabuki troupe at Cal Berkeley that weekend. (Whoo hoo!) M.

Thats what I was thinking, I know we have a few, Hiroyuki and his lady, as well as my lady coming up from the springs. *nudges Hiroyuki to talk to Ruri about making a carpool arangement* I'll probably take the batton from Castle Rock with the three aformentioned and see about catching you guys up there.

But is "freaking the mundanes" while at the festival still up for debate? I'm kind of itching to pack my geta regardless.
