Hi Everyone Last Year i used to post my armour tousando.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=armour&thread=3624&page=1Actually i try to complete whole set by using barrel but i havejob to do and cancel all project that i wish to do I always thinks about possibility to create Sendai do by using barrel.I see some SCA Armour that call sendai do but the structure are too far to call it as sendai do My idea is make the armour that legal for sca and also look elegant looking good and i try to fold it it take time only two days to create Body part i decide to create 11 sets of kusazuri (after that i found that most of them use only 9 sets) only 2 weeks fastest that i ever made!!!! so i think it's to make complete set of sendai do

this one is a little bit different from the previous some ratio are adjust to be fit with the body more this time i adjust kusazuri to be 9 set when my lacing is around 90% i just found single layer braid that is perfect for lacing but.....this is life forget about it Haidate+Suneate idea still in my head for long time create kabuto form safety helmet.... ok it's not for sca combat but it's the art& science go for it ;D

Yamada Tamuro-dono has really done a remarkable job with the materials at his disposal, and it gets better every time. There are a lot of Japanese personas developing in Thailand, and Japanese armor is a very popular choice.
Yamada-dono: I didn't even realize you had used a construction helmet for the kabuto. Is the mempo plastic, too?

Yes it is, mempo made from fiber glass
My Idea is when you use Helmet for SCA, it's for SCA When you wear kabuto and mempo,it ready for Cosplay party

Cool. It looks good. BTW, although plastic obviously won't work, you *can* make a safe, SCA-legal mempo. It has to be done out of metal, and it should be made to fit the wearer's face. The important part is that it needs to sit (with padding) on top of the bones of the face and forehead, so that a thrust or hit moves the whole head. I've seen it done well, and there may be some help on armourarchive.com. -Ii

Nodawa or japannese Gorget i try to mix left and right to be legal for sca but Actually Nodawa themselve can be use together with Gorget Kote is the hard part because actual one is not for SCA I create my own version with hinge i try with japanese chainmail before but it take time and easy to break so i use european 4in1 instead but movement of ankle are limited

Nice dou! Now if you can translate the kabuto into list-legal protection, you're all set.

For kusazuri you don't use the tomegawa (I.e. the sinew) between plates. They should move, just like most sode.
