Im going all in. I have been working on a Hankyu yumi bow. Its a shorter version than the 230cm long Yumi . The hankyu is 155 cm. I saw a video of a guy that made bows of pvc tubes. Bourght 2 tubes on 200cm and practiced on the one tube and got the final bow out of the other tube. Honoki wood in both ends ,black lacquer and red pvc wires for deco. I ordred printet leather for the handle and real bow strings. One string for the bow and one for the tsurumaki I will take some shots later. Also found a very nice arrowhead for mounting on one of the arrows.

Beautiful, though I admit: I initially wondered why someone had posted a picture of a coral snake to the board. -Ii

You got your designs from backyard bowyer, yeah? Let us know how that bow holds up. I'm also interested in making one.
