Just ran across these guys via an ad for a cultural fest they are throwing in Manitou Springs next Saturday. I am going to build some quicky armour stands to display the tatehagi hara-ate I just bought as well as some SCA armour and see if I can get their approval for some show-and-tell. www.jassc.org/Is there life outside the SCA? If nothing else, they run some very inexpensive Japanese language classes

Konichiwa, I didn't see the cost for the language classes, but based on their other class costs, they are probably fairly inexpensive. One downside I saw was that they didn't offer any beginner's classes in the evenings (There is one Saturday morning class, but not much else that will be compatible with a normal work schedule). CU Boulder also offer's language classes in the evenings- www.colorado.edu/ContinuingEducation/pefl.htm. These are a lot more expensive ($189 for 8 weeks), but it works for my schedule. I'm going to be taking one of their classes this month, so I'll let you know how it goes. Masahide
