Hey everyone, I have completed the major work on my "Little Bitty Chart", which, taken as a whole, had more than 16,000 lines of code. That proved a bit unwieldy, so I broke the Chart down into four chunks according to major time period. I also moved it to its new final home. So... If you go to my site at www.kabutographics.com you will see icons on the top bar. Go to the one that says projects, and click it. Inside you will see links to the chart: “ú–{‚ÌŽž‘ã Nippon no Jidai: A study of Japanese Historical Periods in regards to S.C.A. Context. There are other projects in there as well. These pages are coded for UTF-8 - which in theory should be better than strict SHIFT_JIS encoding. This means you should be able to see the kanji as well as the regular Western characters. The offer still stands to insert any of you folk into the time line if you have birth dates and death dates for your persona. Some of you have chosen to do so, and I appreciate it. There is also an offer if anyone would like to contribute pics of themselves or others in Japanese or Asian Garb or armor, I would love to post them. Thanks for playing, and we now return you to your regularly planned day. Date

There is also an offer if anyone would like to contribute pics of themselves or others in Japanese or Asian Garb or armor, I would love to post them. If I get any new ones, you'll know. M.

Even with Front Page, nice Lady, I think if one were to build a table as big as I did, with all of the font information I did, and with all the links I threw in - the frontpage doc might be rather large also... Besides, I am not sure how Frontpage handles kanji and such...and I am not sure how well it would like imbeded objects like flash... Adobe GoLive works well for me. But still, I like how my little bitty chart came out, and have trimmed it of anything that is not needed.
Glad you like it though! Date

True. You do MUCH more complicated stuff than I do.
However, I was able to learn enough in a weekend to start designing my first web page and have gotten to the point that I can actually look at the html code when Geocities burps and figure out what doesn't match. For what it does, FrontPage isn't a bad little program. Besides, it was a freebie from my technogod roommate.

Konnichiwa Date-dono,
I think you have done an incredible job with this project. I know what it takes to build a tabled set of data this size. As an aside, FrontPage will generate about 30% more code than Go-Live or Dreamweaver... and not nearly as clean.
