Following a presentation by Shikoku University’s Professor Hiroaki Sera on the lifestyle and language of the courtly class during Japan’s Heian period, the fashions of the time will be showcased. Historically accurate costumes used in period dramas will be shown by instructors visiting from Seo Shizuko Kimono School. Presented in Japanese with English translation. Free with admission.
