The part where I make you all into hannya: the theatre dates to 1925 and has not only not been chopped into an umptyplex, it has been beautifully restored and features pre-show (and in this case, intermission) organ music on the Mighty Wurlitzer. The theme from "The Magnificent Seven" played us into the opening of the curtains and nearly three hours of the best storytelling on film. I want to hit tomorrow's matinee of "Rashomon," followed by "Scandal," which I have never seen.
