So, I was cleaning out my my closet and I came across a project of mine that never got off the ground. I will probably never use them, so I'm offering them up for sale here. First are some various portions of a dou made from black Effingham plate. I'm not willing to untie all the plates so you'll have to buy them as-is. Buy them all and I'll throw in the shoe lace pictured! I'm asking $100 shipped anywhere in the continental US. Next there's a pair of incomplete Suneate made from leather. They're made to the design on the Yama Kaminari site. 12.5" in length at the shortest and 15" at the longest. Made by someone at the Armour Archive years ago (no idea who . . .). How about $25 shipped in the CONUS? If you have any questions at all or would like specific pictures of something, please ask away! I know most people don't know me around here anymore, but if you want feedback reassurance on previous transactions, feel free to look up my ebay account "greeneel22"

$100 for all the plate and Shoelace; that includes shipping (does not include handy plastic tub for the lace though).
To be honest, I have no idea if there is enough plate to finish the dou. I know that I had intended to make an o-yoroi styled dou and attach a solid plastic plate, covered in patterned leather for the front. If you are around my size, you might have enough for a complete wrap-around dou (but not the kusazuri/kozane). You would definitely have to dissemble the various bits and pieces that are not attached to do so. Does that help?

Very interested in this. It would mostly just be a start for me (probably only half way: I'm big) and would have to buy more plates anyway, but that would be an awesome start! PM me if you still have it. Thanks!

This stuff is sold and shipped! Now that I see it, your username does seem familiar, losthelm. They're great pieces, just never got to the project; but they're on their way to a better home now!
