there is an individual Takayama Ukon (1553-1615) (a christian Daimyo) AKA Takayama Nagafusa, I am interested in finding out what his Mon was. Is there a source for this?

Takayama-dono, are you aware that's also the mon for the Hosokawa, and possibly others?

nope, I was not, though given that I got it from a Wiki-esque site I am not surprised. It seem I am headed back to the searching board. I may have to see if there are any paintings that will help.

Unlike the SCA's College of Heralds, which requires everyone to register something unique, the same kamon was frequently used by different families. Pick a design and look at how often it turns up for a different clan JUST on the Samurai Archives pages: the Saionji aren't listed there, being kuge, but there were several other clans using the triple tomoe.
