There are several people who can make you one. You are going to be paying $500+ for one if you want one that looks good. I would check out the armor archive forums.armourarchive.org and ask there for an armorer that can make you one.

Clang armoury make a awesome one but hes got a back order seven miles long, Two Ravens is out with a torn shoulder, and armour and castings can burn in hell, before I will ever recommend them for anything besides belt and bag bits. Did I mention I am looking for the exact same thing.

Sir Ogami makes them on request if you ask nicely. I know the turn around usualy is a bit daunting. If your in a hurry for a Japanese helm Makiwara posted this link cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190490098661I would look for something short term while you wait for a custome helm to be built. Just so you can be on the field.

You can turn a rearpoint bascinet into a kabuto for a quarter of that, if you like. It's not perfect, but it beats no helmet at all.

Great news I found some one to build mine the first half of the money is down and now the waiting... I went with Shamrock armoury for two reasons 1) the Armour Archive had some good feedback about him. 2) customer service. The last is the most important to me as I have had bad customer service and it ruins my want to use their services again.

Shamrock is a great place. you will certainly need to post pics when you get it. (I'm in the market for one)

not to be a stickler lol but you should move this thread to the armor section and also peruse the past discussions there as there are many on this subject. but as to your query if you would like a less expensive way to go here is the link to one of my threads where there are pics of some work done for me. tousando.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=armour&action=display&thread=3614&page=1i cant afford a new one so had mine altered . another friend is buying this simple bascinet and is having it done the same way p7.hostingprod.com/@illusionarmoring.com/Helmets.html#bascinetsit will probably cost more than mine because i didnt have a mempo made but mine cost me around $170.00 if your interested in my armorer send me a message .
