Hi,
I would like to create an armor using cardboard and joint ciment before making a real one ( metal ) like usagijuku does. Anybody know which product do they use ? they said "joint cement ( YOSINO plaster Co.,Ltd. wall crack repair agent" but i don't know if it's for ciment(concrete) or plaster. I used plaster mortar to paste placo(plaster) panels but i still have cracks after 3 layers and the armor parts are flexible.
Thanks for your help

Filler dry faster than i tough. So here the pictures. Pattern from nihon katchu's 16 plate kabuto ( cardboard from beer pack ) Not sanded yet, looks a little ugly but now not flexible anymore and no cracks Soon : (source : www.shogunart.com/collections/japanese-samurai-suits/# )

The "PVA" on the label there might be for "Polyvinyl Acetate", an ingredient commonly found in what we call "white glue" or "Elmer's Glue" in the USA.
