I did mention that I am a "bibliomaniac" (apparently a pejorative term used by librarians to describe some of their patrons) and that I have been interested in Japanese architecture for decades. This means that it is pretty easy to trigger book buying. (I weigh my books on truck scales instead of counting them.) Regardless, two days ago I ordered the following and will be able to comment about them when they arrive:

Another thought might be to contact the "Genji Monogatari Museum" in Uji.

The other thing to consider is Heian Jingu, but I worry there is too much doubt as to its dimensions. First off, it is intentionally scaled down. Second, it is unclear where the scholarship was when they built it, and I've believe we know a bit more, today.
