I don't do much in the way of A&S, but I do a fair job at creating a garden space. This is the only photo I have of my second incarnation of "the pick-up truck garden". The first was at Phenix Eye and it was in the back of a F-150. This time I used the space of 2 pieces of ply-wood. Cedar post held up the corners and middle of the ply-wood, split pieces of giant bamboo run around the border to hold in the mulch, and a bamboo fence was made on one side to redirect peoples eyes away from the emergency exit. I cut holes in the ply-wood to pass the pots of the plants through to the floor. I cut a large irregular shape out of the the ply wood and slid an old car roof carrier underneath. A low psi pump was put in the pond and the hose was run up through some bamboo that was made to ressemble a water spiket. Stones and ground covers were placed around the pond and cut pieces of bamboo were placed against the wall. Most of the plant material was Japanese in origin. A lace leaf maple, Okomi cherry, camelia sesanqua and japonica, pieris, satsuki azalias, miniture bamboo, siberian iris, hinoki cypress and other stuff. I gave it all away at the end of the day. Share the wealth, what little you have.
