Two translations of doka by Ueshiba-sensei. Surrounded by a forest of enemy spears - enter deeply and learn to use your mind as a shield. When surrounded by a forest of spears, know that you must use your own mind as a shield. Torimakishi yari no hayashi ni iru toki wa kotate wa onoga* kokoro tozo shire www.hosmanek.com/aikido/page22.htmThis line appears as "kotate was onoga" but I think that would be wrong.

Two translations of doka by Ueshiba-sensei... Which Ueshiba? If it's O-sensei, there's some great footage of him dealing with just this situation - at bayonette point, at the center of about 10 guys. He moves and they all fall down like dominoes in hakama.

Any Japanese literati want to help me? I sent an English inquiry about the first two videos several weeks ago, but have received no reply. Could someone, in Japanese, email the contact address and find out if these videos are available. I would like to purchase them but appear to need an intermediary. If you can take PayPal or a credit card or whatever ... I would appreciate your help. www4.kcn.ne.jp/~hozoin/video.htmRon Broberg

The Qt and MPEG point to files that don't appear to exist. A little spelunking got me to a 'this site moved' warning. Apparently, the guy didn't change the video links, just the pages.
