Looks Edo, but it's not out of place for a late 16th century impression.

Is there anything similar to this in the 14th Century? Here is my problem. I have a high peak bascinet that I love, but, if it will not work as a kabuto in my 14th century kit I would like to sell it and make a new kabuto. If it will work, I will just mod it as needed. If images of my Bascinet are needed just let me know.

I followed the linked image to discover ... its a leather helmet. Cool.
I am pretty sure that the momonari helmets do not appear until after the Europeans do. It that's true, then you don't get it any earlier than sixteenth century. Sorry.

So am I looking more toward the 8, 16, 32 plate variety kabuto then?

For fourteenth century, definately multi-plate bowls. I think exposed rivets would be the norm for pre-sixteenth century kabuto, but hidden rivets are probably not unheard of. For something different: Tenugui-kabuto came in during the fifteenth century? www.picure.l.u-tokyo.ac.jp/arc/stibbert/400/0028.jpgAnd another type in the fifteenth century, something like this one, but more rounded, whose name escapes me: www.picure.l.u-tokyo.ac.jp/arc/stibbert/400/0068.jpgBoth of these other helm types I am thinking of are in Bottomley's book Arms and Armour of the Samurai but I am on the road and do not have that book with me.

Not a chance, sorry. In the 1300s, you're talking multiplates and domed rivets.
The update of the armour manual (which I am working on now) has all sorts of new material, including o-yoroi plans and info on these earlier helmets.
