Hello every one, first of all i want to say : THANK YOU VERY MUCH to A.J. Bryant . I found a lot of informations on your web site. Thank 's to sharing your passion about japanese armours.
About jingasa ..... what is the diameter and the height of a simple conical jingasa ? Is it riveted at the back ? Is it made in one piece ? And if is made of steel is the edge rolled ?
If anyone have a pictures or a patterns link about historical jingasa for retainers .....
(Sorry for my poor english )

There is no standard. SOme jingasa are steep and tall, some are low and wide. Some are made of many pieces like a pie, some have one joint, and some are dished from a single plate. (Glad you like my site! ) Tony
