as ive expressed earlier in both this and the arms section, i am an artist, like you all, with (not nessicarily like you all) anal retentive attention to detail. so when i think of myself in my gusuko, rattan katana in hand, i dont want to vomit at the thought of that hand having a european gauntlet the size of a basket ball on it, or even worse, a hockey glove. is their ANY WAY i can make an SCA legal set of hand armor that actually looks like a hand(one not swollen like braughtwerst?) i was thinking a thick leather padded glove,( but not hockey glove padded, not like fingers the size of a subway sandwich padded, more like welders glove size.)with the metal parts of tekko stitched onto it. this would be like half the padded glove option, and half the articulated metal gauntlet option, therefore, half and half makes a fullfilled requirment !! im PRETTY sure im making an ass of myself, and this isnt possible, but i wanted to make ABSOLUTLY SURE. and before you say it, i know i know, it hurts to get hit in the fingers with sticks, but ive been there done that and id really rather risk it than have hands bigger than my kabuto. i need to move my fingers. anyone? please help?

The gauntlets of Sir Sato made by Maxmillion of the Barony of Three Rivers. saito.sgt.cc/myarmors.htmThese are the gauntlets that Gruber made Nissan. The forearms are based on hangote he saw in a Bryant book. the hand is a simplified hourglass finger gauntlet made to look like leather gloves with a rider plate. the cuff is chain on leather. forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=34905

the exact post I was talking about...
Man, what are you living in my head Otagiri-dono? ;D
But yes, they seem to be the best compromise...
But I'm still eager to test out Otagiri's new ones... I love being a test dummy! ;D

These are lovely, and I have seen the post and pictures before. But, now, the real question...
Where can I GET a pair? Is anyone currently selling something like these?
