SIGNATURES: It is possible to use images in your signatures. I ask that you don't. The image sigs I have seen on other boards really break the reading flow of the thread. Text signatures are automatically reduced in size which helps seperate them from the thread text without really breaking the flow of the latter. So feel free to use them.

I am very happy to report the Tousando Board is reaching its one year anniversary (Sept 24). During this time, we have experienced some growing pains. Some questions have come up regarding posting guidelines. Here are my general thoughts on the matter:
1. The Member Profiles and Vendor boards are closely controlled. The only posts I have deleted (that were not my own) were in these two forums. Profile threads are owned by their creators and the sticky clearly indicates that others are not allowed to post therein. The Vendor listings deal with commercial reputations of business owners/operators and are not the appropriate place for disputes to be worked out.
2. The Bugei and Bungei forums are informational in nature. I am more likely in these forums to edit a post than outright delete it, but reserve the right to do either. Posts which are completely off-topic or simply insulting are the most likely to see the editorial pen. I recognize that topic drift can bring a thead totally off-topic. I am sure you recognize that I ignore such drift in most cases.
3. The General board is the least controlled. I am reluctant to intervene in this area.
