ok everything is ready for assembly except the Do. the Do turned out like crap, it was prbly a bad idea to try the 5 solid plate-er at such a level of expirience. so it looks bad, not easy to move in, but all else is great, so im gunna try a rivited lamellar Do over the summer. i hope this time i wont fail so miserable, once the kote sunate haidate and sode are assembled, ill be sure to post pictures. i may also, if i get a bunch of money, mass buy kikko and make manchira out of them to sell. it has been my expirience that they seem to be a very time consuming and exhausting piece to make, but one that will aesthetically amplify your kit like nothing else. i could prbly sell them for a good amount of money. anyone have suggestions for a lacquer/varnish i could use and where to get it? i heard about one somewhere on the board thats 60 times thicker than a layer of laqcuer or something, but cant find what its called.

So, post up pictures of your 'failure', so that we can learn from it. Show us where the dou doesn't fit right, doesn't move right, and doesn't look right.

There is no such thing as a waste. You've just learned 1 way not to make a do. Keep at it
