Greetings all I was wondering as we get closer to the War who was all planning on attending , and if any good Gentles were planing on any Japanese classes.
I've meet several of you in the past (briefly and I don't suspect you'll remember me) and would like to reacquaint myself , and meet those I haven't.

www.pennsicwar.org/penn34/AANDS/class_desc.html can get you started, just as long as you remember that class schedules invariably change. I will not be in attendance. Logistics prevent me this year. I will, however, be teaching a fan making workshop at the West Kingdom's A&S Tourney on the weekend of July 22-24 at Coyote Lake County Park in Gilroy, CA. arts-sciences.westkingdom.org/tourney05/I will also be teaching on kosode at the Known World Costuming and Rattan Symposium in Atchison, KS on Columbus Day weekend. www.dunard.org/KnownWorldCostuming/Index.htmPerpetration of Japanese mischief at Estrella War is subject to logistical planning that I haven't gotten around to yet. Well, I'm going to attempt the following classes:
*Saturday 13th, 10:00 AM -- Onmyodo *Sunday 14th, 11:00 AM -- East Asian Religion and Philosophy 101 *Monday 15th, 3:00 PM -- Japanese History 101 *Wednesday 17th, 11:00 AM -- Onmyodo *Thursday 18th, 11:00 AM -- East Asian Religion and Philosophy 101
The idea behind the '101' classes was mainly to be very broad overview--I wasn't sure if it would help people to have a broad overview and understanding of history and culture. Given time and everything, I'll be interested to see how it goes.
Speaking of classes, I need to finish handouts. Eep!

Welcome to MY world. "Sensu" is finished and I just need to assemble kits. "Another Singalong With Jehanne" needs to be assembled. I'm constantly editing the surcote and kosode pages and will rip handouts from those when I'm ready....
