Some of these tanka are .. not. Some writers believe writing Japanese poems in English negates Their original structure So they do not count. Sloppy! Ha, I did it. ;-> I submitted entries awhile ago, can't remember which poems, however, I feel pretty sure I'm one of the few entrants (so far, at least) who tries to write in as deliberately a medieval Japanese style as I can manage in modern English.
