Lock up your sons and guard the silk warehouses. I'm goin' to Pennsic!
I fly in Friday afternoon of 8/3/07 and will be camped with the Kingdom of the West. Yes, this means I could conceivably be press ganged into attending our royalty, but I still hope to have plenty of time to meet old friends and new!

Noble Cousin! Greetings from Solveig! Lock up your sons and guard the silk warehouses. I'm goin' to Pennsic! I expect that there will be several silk merchants at Pennsic. I suggest being prepared.

I am sad to say that it is confirmed that neither I nor my Lady Wife shall be able to attend this coming Pennsic, due to work related issues, but I am sure that there are many people who will enjoy meeting you face to face. Have fun, and take pics! Date

You mentioned that was likely to be the case. Perhaps another year. I owe Caledonia a box of decadently good chocolate for her tolerance of A Certain Situation.

Alas my travel plans only extend to Nova Scotia for the Barony of Ruantallan's war camp July 29 and then here at home for our Shire's 20th anniversary war camp.
I hope next year will be kinder in terms of scheduling for travelling further afield. I have my eye on either Pennsic or Estrella......a mentor of mine was knighted on the field last Estrella (Calontiri native knighted by the King of the East using the Sword of the West.....it was a moment) so I hope to head down with some fellow Eastlings next time.
Saionji-hime....have fun

I haven't been to Pennsic since I moved out here from the East. My last Pennsic was 28, which was before I started doing Japanese. I confess I am just the teensiest bit STOKED! West Royal is in W03 next to Outlands Royal. (If you ask for me as Makiwara or Saionji and get a blank look from whoever's there, try "Jehanne.")
