Okay, I am pre-registering before the end of the month and if we are going to try this then I think we should try for a head count before those of us early birds have to put in for what kingdom we are camping with. That way those of us with connections with our respective kingdoms can check on land for the encampment.
I know that this will not be an exact list, things can change in the months between now and the event, but at least we will have an idea for a good estimate. So if you are actually going to try your best to come to Estrella and camp in an Asian (or at least mostly Asian, my wife is Egyptian and I am sure there are others out there who's companions are not Asian) then please post it here with the number of people you will be bringing.
Thanks!

I kinda want to go now, but I severly doubt i'll be able to.
It's a lucky day when I can get out of my city, much less my state. I've done so once in my life. Not counting the two times i've been to mexico.

Heck if i know, it's a matter of geographics. And the fact im broke. If i can get a job soon, which im hunting for, then the money part whould defenitly change, but there's still the matter of geographics. The nearest sca shire is about 2 or more hours away from me. Not cool.

Posting "I'd like to come but I can't," is not particularly helpful in trying to make an accurate count of people who actually intend to (a) be at Estrella in February 2008 and (b) are interested in participating.
Thank you for your cooperation

I now have confirmation on our camping space. We will be camping in the area assigned to the Barony of Atenveldt under the household name of "Rising Sun". So make sure that you use that household name when you register so they have confirmation that you are going to be in our group. At this point I have reserved enough room for 10 people in case others planning on joining us, but the dead line for registering and still having your land allocated to our group is the end of December so please send me confirmations on your registration as you do them. If we haven't filled all 10 spots by the end of December then the remaining land will go to Kingdom Overflow.
When you send me confirmations of your registration please do so to my personal e-mail roninpenguin at gmail dot com and include your tent size and shape as well as what day you are planning on coming out.
Thank you and I am really looking forward to this event!

What a difference 36 hours can make!
For as gun-ho as I was about this whole idea and how hardset I was on attending this upcoming event, I must bow out at this point. Modern life has turned to shambles on me in the past couple days, for which it's reprecussions will probably affect me well into late spring.
