Is this going to be a dress or combat kabuto?
I wouldn't do a high-crown kabuto for combat for fear of having my neck messed up from a hard side shot to the top of the helm.

jeje I totally agree with you. It will be for display, but I want it to be wearable so, what do you suggest about the thickness of the metal shets? (if possible in milimeters please

If it's for dress, I'd go with .7 or 1mm -- that's pretty close to real dress stuff.

Thank you very much for your help. I keep working on the patterns, trying to adjust them to the real size. I was thinking of doing it out of 1 mm stainless steel shet. I have a question that I remembered just know and that probably I shouldn´t be asking here, cos probably it has already been answered before.. but.. I was trying searching in Sengokudaimyo but I can´t remember if the answer is there or not.. but... I will try could you tell me please, according to your experience what was the usual thickness for the typical okegawa do style armours from the Sengoku jidai? In some places I have read 0,8 mm, in others, 1 mm. I bought a Tozando yoroi in Japan and I think that the dô is 0,6 mm thick... I have made 2 full yoroi in 1,2 mm and looks much more heavier than the one I bought in Japan... so if you are so gentle and I don´t stole too much of your time, could you enlight me please? Thank you one more time.

Hi, I think I´m done with my Eboshi kabuto patterns so here is a picture of them. I know they are not perfect but... at least I have them. I generated a PDF document with them so if you are interested on them, just tell me, I´m willing to share my sand grain as a way to thank all the knowledge you share here, specially Mr Bryant (Tony) through his worldwide known website www.sengokudaimyo.comAs always, any comment on them is welcome. by the way I found about the thicnkess of the plates in sengokudaimyo. I gess yesterday I was too much tyred to browse it. Greetings!! Isma Attachments:

Hi, finally and after a week of delay with the steel sheet, I started the koshimaki. First I made a kata for the head circunference and after that I dished the koshimaki plate to fit it. More pics soon Good day for everyone. Isma Attachments:
