Still working on it, but it´s getting better. I need to improve the overall shape but it starts to fit. Attachments:

That is looking really, really awesome. That sure is a lot of dishing, but it's worth it when you see how impressive it is now.
I am a bit worried about the point at the back. Your initial plans showed this clipped off flat, and maybe you're still planning to do that. I liked it both from a visual and safety standpoint without the point.

Hi, thank you for your support and comments About the point at the back maybe I will adapt it a little bit. I´m waiting to weld the ventral line to give it extra reinforcement because I didn´t calculate good the overlaping space and the rivets are not strong enough to keep the plates together so once I have welded the ventral plates I will adjust the ridge line. More pictures soon and one more time, thank you. Isma

Thank you, I´ve already started to make the second one, trying to improve some mistakes I made in the first one. Anyway I plan to get both finished at the same time... more or less jeje. I´ll try to post new pics even though I´m pretty bussy these days

Thank you so much. Currently I´m struggling to find a way to make real hachi tsuke no byo, the rivets that holds the shikoro on the hachimaki. Any suggestion?? Are they made out of brass? Are they made using a mold? If you know a tutorial on how to make them it would be really helpfull. Thank you so much

THey would typically be iron or copper, and gilt. Many were die punched (negative and positive dies) with the split legs then welded in.
