This is what I could do after an afternoon hammering the plates... not too much but ok, I just got it started. As always any advice or suggestion is welcome. Attachments:

I'm still very new to the armour process, but it is so amazing to me how someone can look at a picture, make flat patterns based on the picture shape, and then transition those shapes into a 3 dimensional piece of metal art.
I can't wait to see the end product.

This is what I have so far, everything starts to fit together. I´m planning to make two of this helmet so this first one is being the guinea pig ;D I hope it will look good and then I will try to improve it in the next one. Thank you very much for your support. Attachments:

Well, it seems that I´m having some troubles dishing the plates.. it seems easy but actually it involves a lot of dishing... or maybe I´m doing it in the wrong way... so... I think I will take some days to rest, watch more pictures and think about dishing... so, if you can reccomend me some links or videos about dishing or making armours..... that would help. Thank you so much

I was wondering... if one wanted to make one of these combat safe, would lightweight leather attached with velcro tabs or other light weight quick detach method work? (though I can see it being knocked off like a crest and someone thinking the helm was bashed off, but something like this would be spiff in tournaments where pageantry is encouraged)
oh and isma, that dress kabuto is looking sharp so far.

I still have to adjust some lines but it starts to look like an Eboshi Kabuto... or at least that´s what I think... Attachments:

The back plate is in place.. I need to adjust it and after that I have to line up the ventral line (or middle line.... again my English sucks). I hope you can learn something with this project or at least... enjoy the pics As always, any comment is welcome. Isma Attachments:
