any Idea or suggestion about how to turn them into a golden colour? Electroplating? The gold anode will cost you quite a bit, but it will last longer than you think. You could also try a product like Amaco Rub 'n Buff, which is pretty durable once dry.

It's possible to brass-plate copper chemically if you have access to the raw materials. www.rsc.org/images/alchemy_tcm18-188862.pdf Just be careful with the sodium hydroxide.
